Annich McIntosh is a publisher of business titles, an investigative journalist and writer with an addiction to asking the big questions. She is a regular chair and facilitator at major conferences.
She is particularly interested in the customer-facing perspective, especially loyalty and customer retention, the role of marketing and data analysis, the relationship between payments and loyalty and increasingly, machine learning and AI. All these subjects are covered regularly in the titles : Card & Payments World newsletter, Fraud Watch newsletter, and Loyalty Magazine together with their daily news websites.
Annich is the founder of The Loyalty Magazine Awards which recognise loyalty excellence, customer retention and service and concentrate on how big data can be used to develop customer interaction and work as a lifestyle tool. The awards cover the mobile space, gamification, social media, app development, payments, and IoT and entries come from across the Europe, Middle East, Africa and India regions.
Goals: “To use the knowledge I gain through interviewing high level executives and innovators and sharing this effectively and clearly with my readers. Also to use my significant network of contacts to expand understanding of this fast changing and exciting area of payments, loyalty, mobile (and the regulation and rules that surround these).
“The world is in an unprecedented state of change, brought about by new technologies and this brings both challenges and opportunities. At the same time, the goal of interacting successfully with customers remains key to any business. Exploring this interaction of new principles and capabilities with traditional values is really fascinating. To make this clearer for my readers and customers is an exciting daily challenge.
